Art for you...

 

Oriol Angrill Jorda  originally from Spain has my heart (and eyes).   Using mixed media of pastel, watercolours, colored pencil, acrylics, graphite and charcoal he says he never had any interest in art until he realized he was good at rendering real life onto paper.  Something about this work reminds me of the light in my kitchen shining through on the orange lanolin floor as a child.  My mom had about 5 crystals handing in our windows so light refracted here and there.  Magic.

"I just like to draw things that happens in real life, I'm tired to visit contemporary art galleries or museums, all I find there it's just like visiting primary schools on a parent's day. They try to express themselfs in a random or painting fade throwed on a canvas or sticked trash into a litter. All it is shown is valid and allowed."
