Dreams for you..

We wanted to move here, on the bottom of the sea.  Holding our breath, closing our eyes, weightless. We wanted to discover an equidistant universe. We wanted to be fish.

And we were.

Shoes for you..

Can anyone guess how much these kitties are?!? I love them, I want them, but, um...oh dear.

"In this world, you think you have no reason to believe in love or in anything much. Then one day, when you least expect it, a light appears on the far hori- zon. It's a flickering light, begging you to come, telling you to stay away. It's the pale fire. The promise of love and hope - all consuming and elusive. Yet for a moment, it brings clarity in the darkness, future to the ruins and power to the fight."-

Laura

Happy Birthday...

One of the last passengers besides me shook his head ' I can hear the last symphony, that's what
I have been trained for. Like all music, very sad and very beautiful.  The small talk frightens me, great
events flash by...'

Driving home the long flat prairie at night I could see certain fires and lamps,
but it was impossible to determine their size or distance against the depthless
black empty space.  Ten thousand years on the edge of a cliff, without time for guided tours,
without time for birthdays or deadlines..."-Unknown

How beautiful are these humans?  These images?

Darkness...

Because
Light's blinding
No way dividing
What's yours or mine when everything's shining
Your darkness is shining
My darkness is shining
Have faith in ourselves
Truth.

If I could be any fashion photographer it would be this.  It seems to live inside me already.  Thank you David Bellemere.

great BIG SUN inside you.

Yeah, that’s what an avocado is: frozen sun. we eat the sun and then we walk around feeling warm.
'is the sun in all that beer you drink?'
yes, it is.
'is the sun inside of me?'
more than anybody I have ever known
'and I think you got a great BIG SUN inside of you!'
thank you, my love."-

Words for you...

“I believe a strong woman may be stronger than a man, particularly if she happens to have love in her heart. I guess a loving woman is indestructible.”
― John Steinbeck, East of Eden

Song for you

...
   Johnny's always running around
Trying to find certainty.
He needs all the world to confirm
That he ain't lonely.
Mary counts the wall
Says she should be used to it...

something you have seen before, new.

things to never tire of...stars, clouds, the ocean, the breeze, magic hour, looking up into the canopy of the trees.

“There are things than cannot ever occur with any precision. They are too big and too magnificent to be contained in mere facts. They are merely trying to occur, they are checking whether the ground of reality can carry them. And they quickly withdraw, fearing to loose their integrity in the frailty of realization. ”
Bruno Schulz, Sanatorium Under the Sign of the Hourglass

Words for you...

"If I could bottle up the sea breeze
I would take it over to your house and pour it loose through     your gardenSo the hinges on your windows would rust and colorLike    the boats pulled up on the sand for summerand your sweet clean clothes would go stiff on the lineand there'd be sand in your pocketsand nothing on your mind."-Josh Pyke

Song for you...

I love Fleetwood, I truly cannot live without them. Thanks Ben for letting me know that...

Art for you...

I am captivated by the work of Brice Bischoff.  If dreams or ghosts could be captured, here is how I would want them to be.  Imagine the scientists put vapors in the air and if the spirits walked through them this is what was created?  Or an unearthly dream, perhaps the hot air internalized.

Frozen herbs?

Brilliant!

Cape Cod has my heart.

I have been going to Orleans, Cape Cod since I have been 5 years old.  In many ways it feels more my home than Boston, where I grew up. I was fortunate enough to have a mother as a teacher so summers were 100% here.  Now, as I have gotten older and have had less time with the salty air and open skies I realize how lucky I have been and am to have such a sanctuary of peace to call home.  Do you have a special place in your heart that now matter where you roam  in this world, due to memories and love will forever be your favorite space of peace?  Would love to hear your thoughts...
